Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), this class will serve as the annual LOTO review for associates and for those who
have never had LOTO Training:
• Explain what lockout is, why it is important
• Watch video to better understand hazards and reinforce safe work practices
• Show some of the tools and devices that are useful in LOTO applications
High level refresher of the requirements for ARC Flash:
• Go over the NFPA 70E-Hazard Risk Categories
o Proper clothing and how to wear it; there will be a opportunity to put the suits on
• NFPA 70E Boundaries
• Best Practices

We will have sessions in the Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte areas.

When you sign up to attend a Lunch & Learn session the sponsor of the session purchases lunch for you. As we all know, budgets are tight in this economy. So let's please not cause our great Associate Members to spend more than necessary by signing up and not attending. In addition to lunch, the meeting allows for fellowship and a two hour learning session presented by an Associate member. Attendees will receive 2 hours of continuing education credit with the state of North Carolina.

This course when offered during the fiscal year 2010-2011 meets the requirements of the NCBEEC for two (2) contact hours of continuing education credit. This course is not sponsored by the Board.
