Watson Electrical Apprentice Places 2nd at ABC National Craft Competition - Percy Manuel ofWatson Electrical won the Silver Medal in the ABC National Craft Championship competition in San Diego. The competition is held in conjunction with the ABC National Convention. The National Craft Championships are composed of fourth year apprentices from all over the country. The two-day competition, in thirteen different trades, covers both a written exam and a practical hands-on project test.>>more

The Carolinas Electrical Contractors Association, Inc., CECA, is a full service trade association, whose service
to the electrical industry in the Carolinas spans nearly one hundred years, and declares the following as its mission:

Our mission, as an association, is to assist and promote the collective interests of the electrical contractor. To
accomplish this, we will facilitate and coordinate the activities that enhance the electrical industry. We will work with
all governmental bodies, agencies, boards, owners, suppliers, and other construction associations in representing
the interest of the electrical contractor.

We shall provide education, training and communications which will increase the technical skills of electrical
contractors, and their employees. We shall strive to improve safety, productivity and quality in the industry, and
promote the highest ethical standard for the betterment of the electrical industry.
